Puerto Rico 2022: The Timeless Glow of a Memory

There are moments in life that etch themselves into us—so vividly, so deeply—that no matter how many years pass or how much changes around us, they remain untouched. These aren’t always monumental occasions. Sometimes it’s just the light on a summer afternoon, a laugh shared under a sky full of stars, or the quiet warmth of being with someone who made us feel seen.
Some memories feel like they’ve been implanted in our hearts. We don’t summon them consciously, but they surface when we need them most—when we’re lost, tired, or unsure of where life is going. In those memories, we return to ourselves. We relive a version of happiness so pure it becomes a kind of refuge. A reminder that we’ve known joy, and we can find it again.
Even as the world changes—people come and go, cities transform, and we grow older—those precious slices of time remain ours. Untouched by the present. Bright, warm, and waiting.
And in that quiet space in our minds, where time folds and fades, we are, for a moment, truly happy again
